After decades in the field, Eric launched Bion to set a new standard for Dialysis Technical Operations excellence. His holistic vision for the future of kidney care is defined by bold digital transformation and collaborative dialysis patient care teams. To power that mission, Bion employs expert Field Service Biomeds and keeps them 100% focused on high-level technical and compliance work.
Dan Wiles
Vice President
After graduating from Penn State with a double major in Biomedical Equipment Technology and Electrical Engineering Technology, Dan was recruited by Gambro, a company whose culture influenced his belief in nurturing talent, innovation, and accountability. Today, he’s focused on next-generation solutions to help dialysis providers modernize their technical operations.
Mark Moniz
Operations Manager
Mark approaches dialysis technical operations from a unique perspective because he’s worked as a Biomed and as a Dialysis Technician. Working directly with patients and staff in a clinical setting gave him keen insights into the needs of clinicians, patients, and Biomeds. But more than that, in his work as Bion Operations Manager he never forgets that patients are our purpose.
Onyka Donat
Biomedical Engineer
While it’s not required for a Biomed, Onyka earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, driven by her lifelong curiosity and affinity for all things technical. As a senior member of our Rockstar Biomed Team, she delivers Technical Operations excellence and contributes her deep understanding of how things work, why they break, and how it all fits together.
